Tunning: Half step down

Chord Picking (this is strings not frets):
~let ring A 5~42343
              F#m 6~51242
              D 4~31232
              E 6~51242

A F#m
You can tell Gayle, if she calls,
           D E
that I'm famous now for all of these rock and roll songs.
A F#m D E
And even if that's a lie, she should've given me a try.
             F#m E D A
When we were kids on the field of the first day of school.
F#m E D
I would've been her fool.
     F#m E D A
And I would've sang out your name in those old high school halls.
A E A
You tell that to Gayle, if she calls.

A F#m
And you can tell Jane, if she writes,
         D E
that I'm drunk off all these stars and all these crazy Hollywood nights.
A F#m D E
That's total deceit, but she should've married me.
    F#m E D A
And tell her I spent every night of my youth on the floor,
F#m E D
bleeding out from all kinds of wounds.
    F#m E D A
And I would've gotten you a ride out of that town you despised.
A E A
You tell that to Janey, if she writes.

      F#m D A E
But boys will be boys and girls have those eyes
         F#m D A E
that will cut you to ribbons sometimes.
     F#m D A E
And all you can do is just wait by the moon
     F#m D A E
and bleed if it's what she says you oughta do.

F#m D A E
F#m D A E
F#m E D A

A F#m
You remind Nana, if she asks why,
       D E
that a thief stole my heart while she was making up her mind.
   A F#m
I heard she lives in Brooklyn with the cool,
   E D
goes crazy over that New York scene on 7th Avenue.
               F#m E D A
But I used to wait at the diner, a million nights without her,
F#m E D
praying she won't cancel again tonight.
          F#m E D A
And the waiter served my coffee with a consolation sigh.
A E A
You remind Nana, if she asks why.

A F#m D E
          Tell her it’s alright
A F#m D E
You know it's hard to tell you this.

F#m E D A F#m E D A
F#m E D A A E A
            Here's looking at you, Kid.

Sounds good! Might be in a different key.. I'm not sure. Regardless, can always shift higher or lower depending on voice. 's all good.
Only thing is... is that first E on the line "goes crazy over that New York.." supposed to be a D?

Anyway, good tab, good song! Gaslight is awesome.
