this isn't the way they play it...but's an easy acoustic version.
the original version starts w/ an open E instead of a C, an open C# instead of an Am, etc.
either way, it's the same key.

capo 4
C G
I shouldn't be hard to find...I'll be the one with my
Am
big mouth moving;
   F
my big words, saying nothing.
C G
 I hope you know
            Am F
it's not my father's fault I'm such a bore,

       Em* F C Em* F G [Am-G]
and so afraid of everything.

Em* - F - C - G

Am - F - G

C
I'm keeping inside;
G
living in my mind;
Am Em* F
hoping that the telephone don't ring
C
with, "It's all right...
G
pain is universal, baby"
   Am F
and worrying about what I'm going to sing.

Em* F C
 I'm staying in,
Em* F G C [Em* - F - C]
 and saving up my energy.

    G C F G
I know my day is coming.

           C
And when I find it,
          F
I will rewind it
      Em* Am F
(and play it over again a hundred times).
      G C
And when I hear it,
           F
I will not fear it
        Em* Am F
I will say it back again, and say, "I'm fine."

Em* - F - C

Em* - F - G - [Am - G]

Em* - F - C - G

Em* - F - G

C F
 And when I hear it,
           Am G F
I will not fear it
        Am Em* F
I will say it back again, and say, "I'm fine."

   Am Em*
("Relief!..." "Relief!...")
  F
"I'm fine."
