THE KOOKS - ESKIMO KISS

Hey guys! I figured out the chords to this brand-new song by watching the great recorded
live concert at the Bombed Out Church in Liverpool in may 2011. So I don't quite know
by now whether there'll be any changes on the album version. Anyway, this is what Luke
plays. Please put your capo on the 4th fret!

Intro: (A Asus4 A Asus2 F#m D) x3

(1st verse)
 A Asus4 A Asus2
    We had so much fun
  F#m D
She gave me an eskimo kiss
  A Asus4 A Asus2
    We put a record on
  F#m D F
It said the same to us, they sung
  F D A Asus2
   "Oh, it's so much fun!"

(Refrain)
  A D E
She's like a rose that I have found
  E A
She's like the sun flower that
  D E
Never looks back at the sun
               A
  She sees me run
  A D E
She's like a diamond in the rock
  E A D
She's like a rose grown on its top
  D E
  You want me to tug
                A
  She sees me running

(2nd verse)
We went back to the place
A thought set her at her own face
  We put another one on
It says the same as the night gets long
  "Oh, it's so much fun!"

(Refrain)
  She's like a rose ...

(Solo)
  A A G F#m (E) D
(Ebm) A D Bm F#m D E
  Whoo!

(Bridge)
  A D
  Oh, lonely boat
             Bm F#m
Well, I'm coming through the sun
           D E
And our lives had just begun
  A D
  Oh, lonely boat
             Bm F#m
Well, I'm coming through the sun
           D E
And our lives had just begun
          A D
  With our lonely boat
             Bm F#m
Well, I'm coming through the sun
           D E
And our lives had just begun and it goes ...

  A D
  La la la la la
  Bm F#m
  La La la la la
  D E
  La la la la la
  A D
  La la la la la
           Bm F#m
  Did you ever wonder why
            D E
This old word will make you cry? And it goes ...
  A D
  La la la la la
           Bm F#m
  Did you ever wonder why
            D E
This old word will make you cry?

That's it. Sorry if there are any faults in the lyrics, but it was quite hard for me as
a german to figure out what exactly Luke is singing. You know his accent ...

Hey mastercrumble! Nice tab!
I just found one small mistake. I think when Luke sings
"Oh it was so much fun!", he switches directly from the F to the A chord, without playing the D you posted.
Other than that you did a great job! :)

Great tab, pretty much right bang on, after listening I reckon happyhearts right, no D chord there. The A-Asus4-A-Asus2 bit that he plays in the verses and parts of the chorus is x02220 - x02230 - x02250 - x02220 - x02200 for that riff. Also the F#m is 2424222 in the verses (cant remember the name, think F#gsus4)but regular F#m in the bridge. Sorry if this makes no sense!
