This is my first tab. Good song for it, since it's super-simple.
Even the "solo" isn't much of a solo, but it's a very catchy tune.
Becky Black doesn't always play the main riff exactly as shown -
she's sloppy with it, making a lot of little mistakes,
semi-deliberately one would assume. The song would be repetitive
and lose a lot of its charm if played too spot-on, so feel free to
struggle through it if you're a beginner like me, or add embellishment
as you go if you're any good.
The basic structure of the song is traditional Em Blues, so I give
the chords as Em, Am, Bm... but there aren't any chords the way it's
played on the album - all you have are E, A and D being played on the
open low strings, so if you want to harmonize with the song, you have
a lot of other options. To be clear, the bassline is as follows (with four beats per bar):
