“Never Too Late”- The Rescues
Tabbed by Robin Young
Note: I indicated whether the chords are major or minor, but a lot of these chords
seem to be played without the third for much of the song.
Intro: D#- B F# C# B (2x)
VERSE 1:
D#- B F#
Blue skies, Arizona
C# B
Long flight back home
D#- B F#
Looks like they go on forever
C# B
I know they don’t
D#- B F# C#
VERSE 2:
D#- B F#
My heart's like this old suitcase
C# B
Worn out, torn, and frayed
D#- B F#
Can't hold what it used to
C# B
It's half empty anyway
CHORUS:
B F#
It’s never too late to surrender
C# D#
It’s never too late to make amends
B F#
It’s never too late to turn it over
C# B
It’s never too late, till it is
D#- B F# C# B
VERSE 3:
D#- B F#
You were wild when I met you
C# B
Can’t say I wasn’t warned
D#- B F#
The first night you threw punches
C# B
I should've walked out the door
(CHORUS)
BRIDGE:
C# D# B F#
Flying over the Grand Canyon
C# D# B
I can see how the river used to run
C# D# B
We all run
F# C#
Till the water's gone
(CHORUS)
Nice effort, but it really doesn't fit properly with how the song is sung. Props for trying though. I've been trying to tab this for ages, and can't seem to make it sound right either. Even with a capo.
