This tab gives the verse chords like this:
Am I right in saying that that's all supposed to take place within one bar? If so, IMO the extra pipe symbols make that confusing; it would be clearer to limit it to just one vertical line at the start of the bar and one at the end.
Also, according to the Powertab files elsewhere on this site, there's a brief use of the E chord before the switch to the D. So I think the verse chord changes would be better represented by something like this:
