Band: This Will Destroy You
Album: Young Mountain
Track 1: Quiet

Hey guys, heres another TWDY tab Ive finshed work on. As with all their
songs this isnt very difficult to play but its relaxing and fun
nevertheless. I havent included the 2nd guitar in the intro because it uses
an ebow which I dont have - Im pretty sure its just the same notes as
guitar 1 though, only played slower. Again, tuning is probably something
different but standard seems to work.

                                  'INTRO'

Piano Intro

E|---------------------------------------|

G|---------------------------------------|

A|---------------------------------------|
E|---------------------------------------|

(0:37-1:10)
Guitar 1: Clean with huge amounts of delay/reverb
E|---------------------------------------|

G|--888888888--6(let ring)--8(let ring)--| x2
D|---------------------------------------|
A|---------------------------------------|
E|---------------------------------------|

(1:10-2:16)
Guitar 1: Clean with huge amounts of delay/reverb - Im not going to tab all
of this out in order etc, it would just get messy. Just play around with the
following, it really isnt hard:

E|---------------------------------------|
B|---------------------------------------|
G|--88888888--6--1010101010101010--6-----|
D|---------------------------------------|
A|---------------------------------------|
E|---------------------------------------|

E|---------------------------------------|

G|--88888888--6--10101010101010-5/6------|
D|---------------------------------------|
A|---------------------------------------|
E|---------------------------------------|

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
                                  'CHORUS'
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

(2:16-4:30)
Guitar 1: Bit of distortion and delay/reverb. This is just the same thing
over and over until the end of the song. It gets a little quieter in the
mix at parts but it is always there. Just tremelo pick all the notes. There
is also another guitar playing these notes with the beat - not tremelo
picking.

E|-------------------|
B|-------------------|
G|--10--13--8--6--5--|
D|-------------------|
A|-------------------|
E|-------------------|

There is also another guitar playing a chord version of the above:
E|-------------------|
B|-------------------|
G|-------------------|
D|-10--13--8--6--5---|
A|--8--11--6--4--3---|
E|-------------------|

Again, I havent put in the 'effects' guitar because its using a swirling sort of swell
that I simply cannot create with my set up at the moment. If youve got the effects though
shouldnt be hard to do, I imagine its the same notes again. The 'heavy' sounding bit
most of TWDY songs) is done on the bass - not another guitar.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

So there it is, nothing fancy, just a simple little song to learn if your a
beginner or something a little more relaxed for the more experienced
player. Any comments or questions please leave in the box or message my
profile and dont forget to rate!
