Stare At the Sun (Acoustic)
Tabbed By: Big Papa Smurf
Tuning: Standard Tuning (Capo on 3rd fret)

Em (022000)
G (320003)
D (000232)
Am (002210)

Em G D C X1

1st Verse
(Em) i sit here clutching useless lists
(G) and keys for doors that don't exist
(D)i crack my teeth on pearls (C)

(Em)i tear into the history
(G)show me what it means to me in (D)this world
yea in (C)this world

'cause i Am (Em)due for A (G)miracle
i'm (D)waiting for A (C)sign
i'll (Em)stare straight (G)into the sun
and (D)i won't close my eyes(C)
      (Let (C) ring)
'til i understand or go blind

(Em) (G) (D) (4) (Same As Intro but Faster)

2nd Verse (Same Chords and strumming patterns as 1st verse)
i see the parts but not the whole
i study saints and scholars both
no perfect plan unfurls
do i trust my heart or just my mind
why is truth so hard to find in this world
yeah in this world

Chorus (Same Chords and Strumming as first Chorus)
'cause i am due for a miracle
i'm waiting for a sign
i'll stare straight into the sun
and i won't close my eyes
'til i understand or go blind

Part 1: Am C G Em

Part 2: Am C G D

^ First you play Part 1, then 2(Obviously). The lyrics go along with the chords from
Part 1, and then theres a part where it kind plays the chords in a different order but
im not sure of that order, it sounds okay just going from Em to G, then back to the

(Am)I know that's there's a point I've missed,
(C)A shrine or stone I haven't kissed,
(G)I scar that's never graced my wrist,
(Em)a mirror that hasn't met my (G)fist but (Em)I can't help....
(G)Feelin' like I'm... (Back to Chorus)

^ When the G is played just before "fist", this is when the different chord changes
begin. I haven't figured out the exact order of the chords or if it's even Em and G
becuase I haven't listened to the song for a while, but it sounds pretty good judging
on what I remember.

Chorus (Same Chords and Strumming as first Chorus)
'cause i am due for a miracle
i'm waiting for a sign
i'll stare straight into the sun
and i won't close my eyes
'til i understand or go blind

Excellent, kudos on the chord order. However, there are different strumming patterns through the song. When you say the strummin pattern is the same in verse two is the same for verse one that is wrong, just to let you know if you didn't. 5 stars for the chord order though, its better than i could of done, and it does sound better with the capo on 3.
