Band: Toad The Wet Sprocket
Song: PS

Tab: Andrew Galvan

This is played pretty fast, it's an awesome song. The bassline is
fun, kind of complicated, and I hope I do it justice.

Standard tuning.

                                                                1._____
Intro/Verse 1 |
|-------------|--------------------------------------------------------|
|-------------|*-------------------------------------035-55-555--030--*|
|--3/9---99/--|----3-33-333-320----------023-33-333-3------------------|
|-------------|*---------------3-33-333-3-----------------------------*|
In the first Verse, play the repeat twice, using the 1. notation the first
time through, and going right into the Pre Chorus the second time.

Pre Chorus
|------------------------------|
|-30---------------------------|
|---320-00-000-2-3-333-33-320--|
|----------------------------3-|
Listen to the song, I think I misjudged the number of notes on the series
of 0s and 3s... I'm not too terribly concerned about that.

Chorus 1
|---------------------------------------------------------------|
|-----------------------0---------------------------------------|
|-----23-320---22-33-44---320--------23-320---00-22------230----|
|0--03------3----------------30-0--03------3--------33-0----30--|
This is a cool chorus.
I'm just going to tab it straight through, no repeats.
This is because I want to reproduce the fills accurately.

Chorus 1 contd.
|------------------------------------------------------------------|
|-----------------------0--0-------------------------------0-------|
|-----23-320---22-33-44---0--32---------23-320---22-33-44-0-0-32---|
|0--03------3------------------30--0--03------3--------------------|
Kind of a repeat of the high part twice, but with slightly different
fills in between. Then halts and hits Verse 2.

Verse 2
|-------------------------------------------------|
|----------035-55-555-------------035-55-555--050-|
|-3-33-333-------------023-33-333-----------------|
|---------------------3---------------------------|
Verse 2 is a lot like verse 1, except there are two highs, a low,
and a high instead of high, low, high, low.

Verse 2 contd.
|--------------------------------------------|
|---------------------------------035-55-555-|
|-3-33-333-320----------023-33-333-----------|
|-------------3-33-333-3---------------------|
Verse 2 finishes with a very quick run into the Pre Chorus.

                                1.______ 2.___________
Pre Chorus 2 | |
|------|-----------------------|--------|--------------|
|-30---|*---------------------*|-0------|--------------|
|---32-|--0-00-000-2-3-333-33--|--3-320-|-303-320------|
|------|*---------------------*|--------|--------30----|
In this pre chorus, do the 1. on the first time through, and the
2. on the repeat.

Chorus 2
|------------------------------------------------------------------|
|-----------------------0-020--------------------------------------|
|-----23-320---22-33-44------320--------23-320---00-22------230----|
|0--03------3-------------------30-0--03------3--------33-0----30--|
This chorus has pretty much the same structure with minor fill
variations.

Chorus 2 contd.
|-------------------------------------------------------------------|
|-----------------------0-020------------------------------00-------|
|-----23-320---22-33-44------320---------23-320---22-33-44---320----|
|0--03------3-------------------30--0--03------3----------------3---|

Bridge
|--------------------------------------------------------------------|
|---------------------------------55555505555505---------------------|
|-----------------3333333333333333--------------333333330-33-22-00---|
|-3333333333333333------------------------------------------------33-|
Bridge is pretty simple. Notice the 0s in the D/A strings.

Pre Chorus 3
|---------------------------------|-------------------------055-44------|
|*-------------------------0-----*|-------------------------------------|
|---0-00-000-2-3-3-333-33-3-320---|-0-00-000-2-3-3-333-33-35------320---|
|*-------------------------------*|----------------------------------30-|
Play the measure marked with the repeat 2x.
To finish we're going into multiple choruses.

End Chorus
|------------------------------------------------------------------|
|-----------------------0-020--------------------------------------|
|-----23-320---22-33-44------320--------23-320---00-22------230----|
|0--03------3-------------------30-0--03------3--------33-0----30--|

End Chorus contd. (5x)
|------------------------------------|
|*------------------------0-020-----*|
|-------23-320---22-33-44------320---|
|*-0--03------3-------------------3-*|

End
|------------------|
|------------------|
|-------23-320-----|
|--0--03------(3)--|
Let the last note ring.

Well, that's it. I'm not going to give you some bull about "This is how
I hear it.." or whatever. If you know that he's doing something major
that I'm not getting, *PLEASE* email me. I'm not concerned about how I
hear it, I'm concerned about how it *IS*

Hi Kristin. The only reason this exists is because of you. Thanks.
