Am | G ||| D ||| Am | (try "|" for strumming method)
Well I don't know but I've been told
You never slow down, you never grow old
I'm tired of screwing up, I'm tired of bein' down
I'm tire of myself, I'm tired of this town
Oh my my, oh hell yes
Honey put on that party dress
Buy me a drink, sing me a song,
Take me as I come 'cause I can't stay long
Chorus:
D
Last dance with Mary Jane
A
One more time to kill the flame
D
I feel summer creepin' in and I'm
A
Tired of this town again
There's pidgeons down in Market Square
She's standing in her underwear
Lookin' down from a hotel room
Nightfall will be coming soon
Oh my my, oh hell yes
You've got to put on that party dress
It was too cold to cry when I woke up alone
I hit the last number, I walked to the road
Chorus:
D
Last dance with Mary Jane
A
One more time to kill the flame
D
I feel summer creepin' in and I'm
A
Tired of this town again
The D in the chorus should be a Em
other than that great tab!
The A in the chorus could be an A7. That sounds a bit more like it. Otherwise, nice work!
Actually, EM in the chorus should be Em7. I saw him play a concert on AXS TV last night and it was clearly a seventh. It also looked like the A was a major, not a 7th. Also, at the end of the chorus, it looked (and sounded) like he strummed a G chord one time. I didn't hear the high G sound (G on the top string), so he might have deadened it. Also, the line that says "I'm TIRE of this town", should be "I'm TIRED of this town."
