I figured this song out too, just because I liked the main riff but I play it with one note different, I think it sounds just a little closer:

I just use a pulloff from the 4th fret instead of the 3rd to start it off. Your version still sounds dandy but I thought I would propose this way as well.
sweet, this song used to annoy me because my sister (3) and my mom would keep singing it when it was on the radio, but it grew on me i guess.
