i have my guitar tuned a half step down and what sounds right to me is the 2nd fret... if you have your guitar tuned a half step down or tuned to Eb (standard)
wouldn't that be the first fret on standard tuning? ill compare it again but it sure sounds that way

ok so after some more messing with it, yeah, standard tuning 1st fret, half step down tuning 2nd fret... or you cold just play the barre chords without a capo at all, but it doesnt have the same sort of sound, unless your one of those people that can barre so hard you can bend steel.
