# Tabber: izolate - izolate.net

# Tuning: Standard [EADGBe]
# Chords: A [x02220] G [355433] F#m [244222]
# D [xx0232] F [133211] C [032010]
# Dm [xx0231] Am [x02210]

A G
Tough, you think you've got the stuff
       F#m D
You're telling me and anyone
       A
You're hard enough
    A
You don't have to put up a fight
    G
You don't have to always be right
F#m D
Let me take some of the punches
    A
For you tonight

[Pre Chorus]
D A
Listen to me now
                  F#m
I need to let you know
                         D
You don't have to go it alone

[Chorus]
         F#m E
And it's you when I look in the mirror
         D D
And it's you when I don't pick up the phone
F#m E D
Sometimes you can't make it on your own

---

   A G
We fight all the time
        F#m D
You and I... that's alright
          A
We're the same soul
        A G
I don't need... I don't need to hear you say
           F#m D
That if we weren't so alike
                A
You'd like me a whole lot more

[Pre Chorus]
D A
Listen to me now
                  F#m
I need to let you know
                         D
You don't have to go it alone

[Chorus]
         F#m E
And it's you when I look in the mirror
         D D
And it's you when I don't pick up the phone
F#m E D
Sometimes you can't make it on your own

---

[F -> C -> Dm]
I know that we don't talk
[F -> C -> Am]
I'm sick of it all
[F -> C -> Dm]         A
Can you hear me when I Sing,
       F#m
you're the reason I sing
D E A
You're the reason why the opera is in me

[Pre Chorus]
      D
Yeah, hey now
                     A
Still got to let you know
                             F#m
A house still doesn't make a home
                     D
Don't leave me here alone

[Chorus]
         F#m E
And it's you when I look in the mirror
         D D
And it's you that makes it hard to let go
F#m E D
Sometimes you can't make it on your own
F#m E
Sometimes you can't make it
             D
The best you can do is to fake it
F#m E D
Sometimes you can't make it on your own

--- END ---

[Notes]
I noticed the chords tabs for this song on UG were slightly incorrect, so I made this to
appease my OCD. I cannot vouch for electric, but this tab sounds really good on an
acoustic guitar. I highly suggest you do not follow this tab 100%. Use it as a guide,
but improvise with different chord placements, hammer ons and rhythm effects to make it your own.
If you need any help, don't be afraid to tweet @izolate.
Happy playing!

Don´t forget the change holding on first D chord:
little finger on e string 5th fret,4th,2nd then open e bringing you back to A chord..
10 years on and it still moves me like the first day......
