When the funk ending to "Ringo" begins, the bass and guitar are
playing a D-E (as noted where the transcription by Jay P ends).
Next is the "Bunch of Crazy Animals" riff played lightning fast.
I think the easiest way to play that whole tone scale is like this:

After the whole tone riff, the band plays the funk ("Slim Knows the
Score...").
It is a three barre chord funk with a riff. Here is the funk
progression:

G minor > riff (below) > F > C  > back to G minor
