An awesome song by an awesome band!
And really easy to play!
Sounds better with barre chords, but i suppose you can play it open
No one has tabbed this yet, and it's awesome, so thought i would

CHORUS

A G D G
     Woah, now I am drained
                  A G
And I don't wanna run no more
             D G
I think I've done enough and I know
                           A G
You said you'd wait on the other side, yeah
    D G A
But I can't keep with the pace
         G
That you set when we began, I
              D
I don't wanna run no more
G A G
Said I think I've done enough, yeah

VERSE 1

D G A G
I wanna understand the pain you put me through
   D G A G D
So I go out and search for reasons why you are not around me anymore
               G A G
I wonder if my leaving was your aim
   D G A G
To keep me near, but never close enough for coming home

BRIDGE

Bm F# G
So don't buy me flowers, if you're gonna bring me roses
                              A Bm
Scar tissue's settling, right where the other thorn is
                                  F# G
Don't come around here, if you're gonna leave me hopeless
                              A
Scar tissue's settling, right where the other thorn is

CHORUS

Woah, now I am drained
And I don't wanna run no more
I think I've done enough and I know
You said you'd wait on the other side, yeah
But I can't keep with the pace
That you set when we began, I
I don't wanna run no more
Said I think I've done enough, yeah

VERSE 2 (same chords as verse 1)

I need to find a way to deal with being a fool
I'm getting by oh so high I know I will crash eventually
It's all the blur and tears I see, through
They let me smile but when they don't dry out I can see you clear

BRIDGE

So don't buy me flowers, if you're gonna bring me roses
Scar tissue's settling, right where the other thorn is
Don't come around here, if you're gonna leave me hopeless
Scar tissue's settling, right where the other thorn is

CHORUS

Woah, now I am drained
And I don't wanna run no more
I think I've done enough and I know
You said you'd wait on the other side, yeah
But I can't keep with the pace
That you set when we began, I
I don't wanna run no more
Said I think I've done enough, yeah

OUTRO (continue chorus chords)

Has she, or hasn't she got everything I ever wanted
Has she, or hasn't she got everything that I want
Has she, or hasn't she got everything I ever wanted...

the end :)

Hi, Firstly thanks for putting this up. You couldn't comment on the strumming pattern could you, it would help me out greatly.
Many Thanks

Glad you like it mate. I normally just play this song using a basic up and down srumming pattern, keeping in time with how it should sound. Just play the chords along with the song and see how it sounds, I think you could make it sound good however you play it, as long as you keep to the base rhythm of the song.
Hope this helps.
