                          DIANE YOUNG - VAMPIRE WEEKEND
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

[Verse 1]
  B
You torched a Saab like a pile of leaves
I'd gone to find some better wheels
    F#
Four, five meters running round the bend
         B
When the government agents surround you again
   E
If Diane Young won't change your mind
F# B
Baby, baby, baby, baby right on time

[Verse 2]
B
Out of control but you're playing a role
Do you think you can go til the 18th hole
            F#
Or will you flip-flop the day of the championship?
       B
Try to go it alone on your own for a bit
   E
If Diane Young won't change your mind
F# B
Baby, baby, baby, baby right on time

[Bridge]
E
Baby baby baby baby ride on
B F#
Baby baby baby baby ride on
E
Baby baby baby it's a light on
B F#
Baby baby baby it's a lifetime
C#m B
Baby baby baby baby ride on
F#
Time, time, time, time, time
C#m B F#
Baby baby baby baby ride on time

[Verse 3]
B

F# B
Ooh, let 'em go
   E
If Diane Young won't change your mind
F# B
Baby, baby, baby, baby right on time

B B E F#

[Verse 4]
B
Irish and proud, baby, naturally
But you got the luck of a Kennedy
   F#
So grab the wheel, keep on holding it tight
            B
'Til you're tunneling over into that good night
   E
If Diane Young won't change your mind
F# B
Baby, baby, baby, baby right on time

[Bridge]
E
Baby baby baby baby ride on
B F#
Baby baby baby baby ride on
E
Baby baby baby it's a light on
B F#
Baby baby baby it's a lifetime
C#m B
Baby baby baby baby ride on
F#
Time, time, time, time, time
C#m B F#
Baby baby baby baby ride on time

[Verse 5]
B
Nobody knows what the future holds
Said it's bad enough just getting old
F#
Live my life, they say it's too fast
           B
You know I love the past, 'cause I hate suspense
   E
If Diane Young won't change your mind
F# B
Baby, baby, baby, baby right on time

Hey there, folks!

I made a little mistake in the tab. The first E of every verse should actually be an F#. I've got the correct version sitting in the queue, but who knows when it'll go live.

And just as I post that, the correction has gone live as well! Ignore what I said above.

I'm ALMOST 100% sure it's F#6 after the E in the verses. Also in Verse 5 I'm ALMOST 99% sure it's F#/B, but then again I'm on a piano so what do I really know?
