On a bed of Califrnia stars
Jump up from a starbed and make another day
Underneath my California stars
Verse 4:
They hang like grapes on vines that shine
And warm the lovers glass like friendly wine
So, I'd give this world just to dream a dream with you
On our bed of California stars
You should mention that this is played with the capo at 2nd fret. Either that, or you can shift the chords up two half-steps (G->A, D->E, C->D).
The previous commenter is right. This is the correct key, but Tweedy plays it with a capo on two, and replaces the A shape with a G chord, the E shape with a D chord, and the C shape with a D chord.
