(A)
I wanna be better than oxygen,
                                            (B)
so you can breathe when you're drowning and weak in the knees.
(C#)
I wanna speak louder than ridilin,
                                       (D#)
for all the children who think they've got a disease.
(E)
I wanna be cooler than TV,
                                                          (A)
for all the kids that are wondering what they're going to be.

(A)
We can be stronger than bombs,
                                              (B)
if you're singing along and you know that you really believe.
(C)
And we can be richer than industry,
                                                            (A)
as long as we know that theres things that we dont really need.

We can speak louder than ignorance,
                                                A7
cause we speak in silence every time our eyes meet.

E C#m
On and On and On it goes,
    A Am
the world it just keeps spinning.
E C#m
Till Im dizzy, time to breathe,
     A Am
So close my eyes and start again anew.

(same chords as for verse 1)

I wanna see through all the lies of society,
To the reality, happiness is at stake.
I wanna hold up my head with dignity,
pround of a life where to give means more than to take.
I wanna live beyond the modern mentality,
where paper is all that you really talk to create.

Do you remember the forgotten America,
Justice, equality, freedom to every race.
Just need to get past all the lie and hypocracy,
make-up and hair to the truth behind every face.
Then look around to all the people you see,
How many of them are happy and free?

I know it sounds like a dream,
but it's the only thing that can get me to sleep at night.
I know it's hard to believe,
but it's easy to see that something here isn't right.
I know the future looks dark,
but its there where the kids of today must carry the light.

E C#m
On and on and on it goes,
      A Am
the world it just keeps spinning.
E C#m
Till I'm dizzy, time to breathe
   A Am
So close my eyes and start again anew.

If I'm afraid to catch a dream,
Ill weave you baskets and float them down the river stream.
Each one i weave with words I speak,
to carry love to your relief.

this a good tab but i think u need to wise up on ur chords as ur drawing of an A and Aminor is actuali of a G# and G#m but no matter the verse is all correct if u play the chords muted and the A chords correct, also the E in the verse should be played down at the 7th fret postition. the chorus is all good however on the repeat after the E and C#m he actuali plays 4 chords in the final bar they are, F#m, A, C and then finally an E, those for chords played on the repeat in the chorus and all played in the 1 bar. Hoped this is helpful

very useful tab, good to see some Willy mason fans out there. just one thing, the A7 you have drawn should be played at the 7th fret forming a B7 chord, same chord just moved up. Cheers for an overwise good tab.

I agree with the above corrections. The only other ones I would add is that the C# is a C#m and the D# chord is really a B chord with a D# bass (i.e. B/D# x698xx or x69877 id you want to get tricky). Otherwise, sweet tab. Cheers.
