Capo on 1st Fret

Tuning:EADGBe

Chords:

G - 320033
D - x0023x (sometimes he leaves the last string open and sometimes he plays on the 2nd
I usually just mute it. Also, this is technically D/A, because it has the A bass in it,
i don't feel like going back and changing everything below)
Cadd9 - x32030
Em7 - 022030
Asus4 - x02230
G/B - x20033 (This chord is played in the progression with oh oh oh ooh, and the B on
5th fret contributes to the assecending bassline of G-A-B-C, so be sure to emphasize that.
The guitar player actually picks this baseline in addition to playing the chords. Don't
the low G on the 6th string as this will take away from the B which is more important)

As you can see from playing through this, he anchors his ring finger on the 2nd string,
fret (D). That combined with the open E string are those sharp notes you hear him pluck
the song. The only time chords don't with ----30 is on the G chords (and possible D chords).

Don't skim past the first part of the progession below. The 3rd time you play through
verse, you'll hit an Em7 instead of a 2nd G. (The cinders, The cinders). So for example

NOTE FOR PICKING OUTRO:
I tabbed this as you're supposed to with a capo,
using the reference frets, not the actual ones.
If you're capoing the 1st fret, you will need to raise
this up one.

Also, this tab is pretty accurate to the recording, but
I find it sounds good (if not better) to just finger the
chords and play around with hitting 1-2 strings where you
think you should. Just keep that open string ringing.
