Not a very well known band, but I got this song for free and i'm sort of obsessed
with it. Here's their site http://www.youngbloodhawke.com/
Intro:
Eb
We come running
We come running
We come running
We come running
Verse 1:
Gm Bb F
Under a pale blue sky
F Dm Eb
you never felt so cold
Gm Bb F
another sleepless night
Dm Eb
how could you ever let go
Gm Bb F
how do you recognize
F Dm Eb
the dirty face of gold
Gm Bb F
behind that crooked line
Dm Eb
where you never knew you'd go
Chorus:
Eb
Headed for the open door
Cm
tell me what you're waiting for
Bb
look across the great divide
soon they're gunna hear
F
the sound, the sound, the sound
Eb
when we come running
Cm
never go where we belong
Bb
echoes in the dead of dawn
soon they're gunna know
F
the sound, the sound, the sound
when we come running
Eb Cm
the sound, the sound, the sound
Bb F
when we come running
Verse 2:
Gm Bb F
when the worlds gone quiet
F Dm Eb
I see you dancing slow
Gm Bb F
feeling satisfied
Dm Eb
where you never knew you'd go
Repeat Chorus
Bridge:
Eb
days go by
Cm
feeling broke and tired
Bb
remember
F
always remember
Eb Cm
the sound, the sound, the sound
Bb
when we come running
F
the sound, the sound, the sound
when we come running
Repeat Chorus
I'm pretty sure that the last 'We Come Running' in the chorus isn't Eb F, but rather the woah woah woah woah part is Eb, F, Cm and the the we come running is F.
khobo is right.. if you just added the woah woah woah part in the lyrics less people would be confused there.
