 Verse 1

Em G
I woke up today in London
Am Em
As the plane was touchin' down
Em G
All I could think about was Monday
Am Em
And maybe I'd be back around

Pre-Chorus 1
Em C
If this keeps me away much longer
D Em
 I don't know what I would do
Em C
You've got to understand it's a hard life
D Em
 That I'm goin' through

Em C
And when the night falls in around me
Am Em
And I don't think I'll make it through
Em C
I'll use your light to guide the way
'Cause all I think about is you

Verse 2

Em G
 Well LA's gettin' kinda crazy
Am Em
And New York's gettin' kinda cold
Em G
I'll keep my head from getting lazy
Am Em
I just can't wait to get back home
Pre Chorus 2

Em C
All these days I've spent apart
Am Em
I'll make up for them I swear
Em C
I need your love to hold me up
Am Em
When it's all too much to bear

Is not that bad, the chords progretion is not that bad, you are missing the A5 before the Am in the verse
in the pre-chorus D is a progretion of Dsus2, D, Dsus4, D
And in the chorus after the C youo have to pick on C/B
that is most of it
