Capo 2

[Intro]
*one strum

G D Em C

[Verse 1]

G
6 weeks since I've been away
D
Now you're saying everything has changed
Em C
I'm afraid that I might be losing you
G
Every night that we spend alone
D
It gets me thinking of you on your own
Em C
And I wish I was back home next to you
G D Em C
oh, everyday, you feel a little bit further away
       G *D*
and I don't know what to say

[Chorus]

        G D Em C
Are we wasting time talking on a broken line
             G D
Telling you I haven't seen your face in ages
  Em C
It feels like we're as close as strangers
   G D Em C
I won't give up even though it hurts so much
               G D
Every night I'm losing you in a thousand faces
 Em C
Now it feels we're as close as strangers

[Bridge]

G
Late night calls and another text
D
Is this as good as were gonna get
Em C
Another time zone taking me away from you
G
Living dreams in fluorescent lights
D
While you and I are running out of time
Em C
But you know that I'll always wait for you
G D Em C
oh, everyday, you feel a little bit further away
       G *D*
and I don't know what to say

[Chorus]

[Verse 2]

G
On the phone I can tell that you wanna move on
D
Through the tears I can hear that I shouldn't have gone
Em C
Every day gets harder to stay away from you

So tell me are we

[Interlude]

*G* *D* *Em* *C*
Wasting time talking on a broken line
            *G* *D*
Telling you I haven't seen your face in ages
  *G* *C*
It feels like we're as close as strangers

[Chorus]

G D Em C
Wasting time talking on a broken line
             G D
Telling you I haven't seen your face in ages
  Em C
It feels like we're as close as strangers
   G D Em C
I won't give up even though it hurts so much
               G D
Every night I'm losing you in a thousand faces
 Em C
Now it feels we're as close as strangers

[Outro]

*G*
Six months since I went away
*D*
I don't know if everything has changed
*Em* *C*
But tomorrow I'll be coming back to you

I personally think the bridge sounds better as Em D G C instead of G D Em C but it might be just me!
