As you can see, this song has two "different" songs in it. There is a
rain-part in the original version in the middle of those two so I just wrote
them here separately. You can always come up with chords to move smoothly
from Outer Space to Carry On .

Carry On

[Verse 1]

       E
Carry on, let the good times roll
      E
Sail along, let your path unfold
             A
It won't be long, won't be long, won't be long
                        E
You know it's gonna get better, you know it's gonna get better
       E
Say a prayer for the broken bones
           E
Cause who cares? We're all going home
                A
And it won't be long, won't be long, won't be long
                        E
You know it's gonna get better, you know it's gonna get better

[Bridge]

      E B C#m A
I got one foot in the golden life, one foot in the gutter
E B C#m A
So close to the other side, so far from the wonder
      E B C#m A
I got one foot in the golden life, one foot in the gutter
E B C#m A
So sick of the tug of war, that keeps pulling me under

[Chorus]

        E B C#m A
Let the good times roll
        E B C#m A
Let the good times roll

[Verse 2]

      E
Carry on, outlast the ignorance
       E
Moving on, survive the innocence
         A
Won't be long, won't be long, won't be long
                        E
You know it's gonna get better, you know it's gonna get better

I always have my guitar tuned a full step down and I find that putting the capo on the 3rd fret (which is the first fret on standard tuning) for Outer Space sounds really nice, and then switching my capo to the 1st fret (which is a half step down) for Carry On works really nice as well :)
