Thanks to wootalicious for tabbing this, i've made some adjustments to his version, changed a
few chords and made changes where certain chords were missing. Also introduced a cool way to
include the melody into the pre chorus. And again couldn't have done this without wootalicious
doing the hard work!
Enjoy.

Chords used:
Dsus2: |xx0230|
G5: |3x003x|
Em7/B: |x2032x|
D/A |x02030|
Em7: |022030|
D/F# |200230|

A Day to Remember-- You Had Me At Hello

Verse 1:
Dsus2 Em7/B G5
I'm missing you so much, I'll see you die tonight
Em7/B Dsus2 G5
Just so I can get to you before the sun will rise
Dsus2 Em7/B G5
I know the signs are on and I feel this too
Em7/B Dsus2 G5
None of that ever seems to matter when I'm holding you

(In the pre chorus play the D/F# like this |200220| and the G5 like |3x023x|to mimic the picking
part of the second guitar. So if you break it down, you can essentially play the lead
 part with the chords.

|---------------|
|---3---2-------|
|-----------2---|
|---------------|
|---------------|
|---------------|

Accent those notes whilst playing the Em7 D/F# G5 and it will sound pretty sweet)

Pre-Chorus:
Em7 D/F# G5
                      Em7 D/F# G5
And I'm wasting away, away from you
Em7 D/F# G5
                      Em7 D/F# G5
And I'm wasting away, away from you

Chorus:
Dsus2 G5 Em7/B D/F# G5
What have I gotten into this time around
Dsus2 G5 Em7/B D/F# G5
I know that I had sworn I'd never trust anyone again but I didn't have to
G5
You had me at hello.

(Use same chord structure as pre chorus)
Em7 D/F# G5 (X2)

Post-Chorus:
Dsus2 Em7/B G5
I've never seen a smile that can light the room like yours
Em7/B D/F# G5
It's simply radiant, I it feel more with everyday that goes by
Dsus2 Em7/B G5
I watch the clock to make my timing just right
Em7/B D/F# G5 (hold)
Would it be okay, Would it be okay if I took your breath away?

Pre-Chorus:
Em7 D/F# G5
                      Em7 D/F# G5
And I'm wasting away, away from you
Em7 D/F# G5
                      Em7 D/F# G5
And I'm wasting away, away from you

Chorus:
Dsus2 G5 Em7/B D/F# G5
What have I gotten into this time around
Dsus2 G5 Em7/B D/F# G5
I know that I had sworn I'd never trust anyone again but I didn't have to
G5
You had me at hello.

Em7(x8) D/F#(x8) G5(x16)
You gave me butterflies, you had me at hello.
You gave me butterflies, you had me at hello.
You gave me butterflies, you had me at hello.
You gave me butterflies
You gave me butterflies, you had me at hello.
You gave me butterflies, you had me at hello.
You gave me butterflies, you had me at hello.

You gave me butterflies, you had me at hello.

Chorus:
Dsus2 G5 Em7/B D/F# G5
What have I gotten into this time around
Dsus2 G5 Em7/B D/F# G5
I know that I had sworn I'd never trust anyone again but I didn't have to
G5
You had me at hello.
Em7 D/F# G
                        You had me at hello.
Em7 D/F# G
                        You had me at hello.

I don't think the Em7/B chord is right. It sounds a little out of place with the rest of the song. The D/A works a lot better in the spots where the Em7/B is.
