Seriously? I don't know whether this guy is mistaking the bass for the rhythm guitar or he's just got the completely wrong song.

Wrong song, wrong key, wrong instrument I suspect and this version is all over the net. It is basic so how can you get it SO wrong it is played in the following and you can work it out with a quick listen.
