Playground Love (Voc: Gordon Tracks) (1999)
(Gordon Tracks/JB Dunckel/N Godin)

From: "The Virgin suicides - Original Motion Picture Score"

A fascinating song! The chords are multi-layered and some of them are
not easy to play on a guitar But using a capo helps a lot. I think
what I've got here is pretty close, although there are chords about
which I'm not a 100% sure. Suggestions are highly welcome!

CHORDS

The Am9 is a tough one. Below, you can find some alternative voicings
(barree 5th fret + open A-string), which might be helpful. It is also
possible to leave out the 7th (g) and play Am(add9), which makes it a
little easier.

           E-A-D-G-B-e
Am7 x-0-2-2-1-3 or x-0-7-5-8-5
Am6 x-0-2-2-1-2 or x-0-7-5-7-5
Am9 x-0-2-4-1-3 or x-0-5-5-5-7 or x-0-2-4-1-0 (= Am(add9))
Am/G 3-x-2-2-1-0
Fdim 1(2)0-1-0-x (2) = optional note: play it or mute the string
F(add9) (t)1-x-3-2-1-3
Fadd9/C x-3-x-2-1-3 (= D7sus4/C)
F/C x-3-3-2-1-1
B5 x-2-4-4-x-x
Bb5 x-1-3-3-x-x

Sorry, but some of the chords just won't show in the positions I formatted them (in relation to the lyrics). Tried to correct it but it does not work. But when playing along, I think, it becomes clear where you have to change.
Enjoy!

Thank you very much for the tab and the record. It sounds great. I still can´t play some chords accurately (damm am7/9), but with more practice. Also I don´t understand what this (2) in Fdim means.

Thank you for the rating! The Am9 is a tough one, I know ... but it sounds so great. And, yeah, practising helps. ;)

The (2) in the Fdim voicing means, this note is optional. If you want to play the A-string, play this note; else you shouldn't play it at all. So, either1-2-0-1-0-x or 1-x-0-1-0-x.

Enjoy playing this beautiful song!
