Strumming
There is no strumming pattern for this song yet. and get +5 IQ
I'm a beginner at guitar, but the chords are at the very least ^semi^ accurate.
For the chords in the instrumental breaks, it's a basic down stroke for 2 measures
on one chord.

Standard Tuning

INTRO: D A G A

D A
New Favorite
G A
They all say it
D A
I'll say it too
G A D
You've got a new favorite

A G A

D A
You won't standby
G A
Your right hand guy
D A
Is nothing new
G A D
You've got a new favorite

A G A D A G A (A into next line)

           D G
Why do you lie about love?
D A G A G-A-D
I saw the light go o-u-t

A G A D A G A D A G A
(Interlude)

D A
And should I go
G A
You won't say so
D A
I know its true
G A D
I know you've got a new favorite
G A D
I know you've got a new favorite
A D
You've got a new favorite

A G A

Sorry about this, but in the last verse, it should go:
G A D A
I know you've got a new favorite
G A D A G
I know you've got a new favorite
A D
You've got a new favorite

Also, in the 2nd verse, the spacing's off. Just try to match it to the first verse.

Ok Spacing's off in the COMMENT section too. Lol. The chords in the verse are right, but the little 'break' in the song was forgotten.
After the first 'favorite' play A then back to G.
After the second play A then G, then back to D. It's sorta like a huge pattern for these guys...
