Transposed to G

G E7
Mean ol’ moon
   Am D
It must be fun
G E7
To shine upon me
    Am D
As I come undone
G D
Til I’m all alone
G E7
Beneath the sun
    Am D G
You mean ol’ moon

G E7
With your beam
    Am D
You led the way
G E7
And found me love I thought was
Am D
Here to stay
     G D
Then you went and took
   E7 C
My love away
    Am D G
You mean ol’ moon

       E7 A Dm G
Oh you mean ol’ stars above
    E7 A Dm G
The games that you play with me
Dm G E7 A
I could find some happiness
   Dm G C F
If all of my nights were cloudy

G E7
Mean ol’ moon
  Am D
I hope it’s true
G E7
You’re taking all the light
        Am D
that’s left in you
 G D
And saving it up for
E7 C
you know who
    Am D G
You mean ol’ moon
    Am D G
You mean ol’ moon

. That's clearly wrong. Played it along the Song and sorry to say but thats completley wrong. I think not even one chord fits right.

^ That's because this is a transposed version... this version's in G, and the recording is in Bb... it obviously wouldn't fit when played with the original. This isn't accurate though, at that. It's missing necessary chordal extentions and has a few inaccurate chord qualities (eg. the second chord should be written as "E7").
