Easier to lie
Artist: Aqualung
Album : Still life
Tabbed by : Amsteen

C G
To bear the weight
C G
and push into the sky
Am Em
it's easier to lie
F G
it's easier to lie

C G
And honestly
C G
to look you in the eye
Am Em
it's easier to lie
F C
it's easier to lie

C G
To be the one
C G
to be the only one
Am G
something has to give a lot
F G
something has to give a lot

C G
And who am I
C G
to give you what you need
F G
when I'm learning
F G
just learning
G F
Learning how to live and

C G
To bear the weight
C G
and push into the sky
Am Em
it's easier to lie
F Em
it's easier to lie

C G
And honestly
C G
to look you in the eye
Am Em
it's easier to lie
F C
it's easier to lie

C	G
To fill the space
C	G
the space you made for me
Am G
try to be the one you want
F G
try to be the one you want

C	G
And maybe I
C	G
could be the one you need
F	G
if you'd only
F G
show me
G F
Show me how to live and

C G
How to bear the weight
C G
and push into the sky
Am Em
it's easier to lie
F Em
it's easier to lie

C G
And do what's right
C G
when everything is wrong
Am G
it's easier to run
F
it's easier to

C	G
Never have
C G
to look you in the eye
Am G
it's easier to lie
F G
it's easier to lie

C G
To bear the weight
C G
and push into the sky
Am G
it's easier to lie

it sounds good without the song, but with the song i think you need a capo, im just not sure where yet. good job tho, this is the first tag of it i've been able to find anywhere. 4 stars

I love this song - not sure you have it quite right though I agree with matt. I tried mucking about with a capo along to song but tbh i think the chords aren't the same as in the original. that said, it sounds pretty good on its own and much better than nothing.

I messed around a bit with the capo and came up with this:

C = B
G = F#
Am = G#m
Em = D#m
F = E

Just play these new chords instead of the "old". Works nice with the song, think it's pretty accurate.
You can of course use the "old" chords as well with a capo on the 11th fret.
