[Verse]

First, there is one guitar playing this Em chord over and over again.
When the verse starts, it sounds like the 9th fret on the G-string
is hit while half-muted.

e|-7--|
B|-8--|
G|-9--|
D|-9--|
A|-7--|
E|----|

Then, after two 'bars', a tremolo-y, or wah-wah sounding guitar and another
guitar start to follow the bass notes palm-muted:

e|-12---10----8----7--|
B|-12---10----8----7--|
G|-12---11----9----8--|
D|-14---12----10---9--|
A|-14---12----10---9--|
E|-12---10----8----7--|

And
e|-----------------------|
B|-----------------------|
G|-9~---7~----5~---4~----|
D|-----------------------|
A|-----------------------|
E|-----------------------|

[Chorus]

The chorus basically follows the intro-riff again. The same chords as in the
verse can be used under this.

e|----------7----------7---------7------------------7---------7---------|
B|----8-/10------8-/10-----8\--------8-10-8----8---------8---------8----|
G|-/9---------/9---------9-----7---9--------/9---/5---/9---/5---/9------|
D|----------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|----------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|----------------------------------------------------------------------|
                              | |
                            e|---------------|
                            B|---------------|
Jamie backs this part G|---4-----------|
an octave lower D|-------5-7-5---|
                            A|-5---7---------|
                            E|---------------|

e|-------------------| e|-------------|
B|-------------------| B|-------------|
G|--4/7-9/11-12\11---| And Jamie: G|-------------|
D|-------------------| D|---0-2/4-5\4-|
A|-------------------| A|-2-----------|
E|-------------------| E|-------------|

e|----------7----------7---------7--------------------------------------|
B|----8-/10------8-/10-----8\--------8-10-8----8------8/10--12\10--8----|
G|-/9---------/9---------9-----7---9--------/9---5/9-----------------9\-|
D|----------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|----------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|----------------------------------------------------------------------|
                              | |
                            e|---------------|
                            B|---------------|
                Jamie G|---4-----------|
                            D|-------5-7-5---|
                            A|-5---7---------|
                            E|---------------|

e|--------------------------| e|---------------------|
B|--------------------------| B|---------------------|
G|-4/7--9/11--12\11--9/11\--| And Jamie: G|---------------------|
D|--------------------------| D|---0--2/4--5\4--0-2--|
A|--------------------------| A|-2-------------------|
E|--------------------------| E|---------------------|

[Verse 2]

The same as verse 1, but the Em chord is left out the second time. I guess
you'll notice. Again, the chords are played while another guitar plays
just one or two notes of these chords.

e|-7--|
B|-8--|
G|-9--|
D|-9--|
A|-7--|
E|----|

Then, after two 'bars', a tremolo-y, or wah-wah sounding guitar and another
guitar start to follow the bass notes palm-muted:

e|-12---10----8----7--|
B|-12---10----8----7--|
G|-12---11----9----8--|
D|-14---12----10---9--|
A|-14---12----10---9--|
E|-12---10----8----7--|

And
e|-----------------------|
B|-----------------------|
G|-9~---7~----5~---4~----|
D|-----------------------|
A|-----------------------|
E|-----------------------|

[Chorus]

Starts the same as chorus 1, but get's an extension somewhere around 2:18
which I believe is played like this:
e|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|----(8)---10/12---10\8-----8---10/12---10\8-----8---10/12-----8---10/12----|
G|-(9)---------------------9--------------------9-------------9--------------|
D|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|

e|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|-10\8-----8---10/12---10\8-----8---10/12-----8---10/12---10\8-----8---10/12|
G|--------9--------------------9-------------9--------------------9----------|
D|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|

e|----------------------------|
B|-10\8-----8---10/12---8~----|
G|--------9-------------------|
D|----------------------------|
A|----------------------------|
E|----------------------------|

Under this extension, these chords fit:
e|-5----8----7----10----8----7-|
B|-5----8----8----10----8----7-|
G|-5----9----9----11----9----8-|
D|-7----10---9----12----10---9-|
A|-7----10---7----12----10---9-|
E|-5----8---------10----8----7-|

[Bridge]

Then there is this awesome bridge which features Josh Homme and some choir-
like part. I think this part only has the chords which are also used in the
verse.

[Chorus/Outro]

Chorus comes in again, while Josh is still singing. After a while, just
before the chorus vocals stop, an additional guitar starts following the
bass notes of the chords and adds some additional notes.

e|----------7----------7---------7------------------7---------7---------|
B|----8-/10------8-/10-----8\--------8-10-8----8---------8---------8----|
G|-/9---------/9---------9-----7---9--------/9---/5---/9---/5---/9------|
D|----------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|----------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|----------------------------------------------------------------------|
                              | |
                            e|---------------|
                            B|---------------|
Jamie backs this part G|---4-----------|
an octave lower D|-------5-7-5---|
                            A|-5---7---------|
                            E|---------------|

e|-------------------| e|-------------|
B|-------------------| B|-------------|
G|--4/7-9/11-12\11---| And Jamie: G|-------------|
D|-------------------| D|---0-2/4-5\4-|
A|-------------------| A|-2-----------|
E|-------------------| E|-------------|

e|----------7----------7---------7--------------------------------------|
B|----8-/10------8-/10-----8\--------8-10-8----8------8/10--12\10--8----|
G|-/9---------/9---------9-----7---9--------/9---5/9-----------------9\-|
D|----------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|----------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|----------------------------------------------------------------------|
                              | |
                            e|---------------|
                            B|---------------|
                Jamie G|---4-----------|
                            D|-------5-7-5---|
                            A|-5---7---------|
                            E|---------------|

e|--------------------------| e|---------------------|
B|--------------------------| B|---------------------|
G|-4/7--9/11--12\11--9/11\--| And Jamie: G|---------------------|
D|--------------------------| D|---0--2/4--5\4--0-2--|
A|--------------------------| A|-2-------------------|
E|--------------------------| E|---------------------|

Ends with the Em again.

to make the intro easier, i think you can play it like:

e|----------7------------7--
B|----8--/10-----8---/10----
G|-/9---------/9------------
D|--------------------------
A|--------------------------
E|--------------------------

and so on.
