Capo on first fret
Lyrics may be wrong, I wrote them out myself.

G C
Today I noticed hills of gold
  D G
I have not seen before
G C
Today I saw a line against the sky
  D G
I have not seen before

Am G
Holding on to power lines I asked
C D G
Birds to keep my thought in place
C G
And above my feet there resonates
C D G
Sound, muffled but immediate

    Em
And oh,
        C G
How the day does pull away
C D G
Ever faster

G C
Tonight I see a dark sad man,
  D G
I have not seen before
G C
Tonight I see two sad lost girls
  D G
I have not seen before

Am G
And below the blackened sky I asked
C D G
For them to wander as I might
C G
High above I saw the stars at night
C D G
Move in minutes if your patience asks

    Em
And oh,
        C G
How the day does pull away
D C
Ever faster

    Em
And oh,
        C G
How the day does pull away
D C
Ever faster

D C G
Ever faster

(Repeat four times, end on G)
