This is basically version two on the site right now, just a little easier
with the capo on the first fret. This is also closer to the
Black Lungs/City and Colour/Sleepercar (I think that's right) version.

All chords relative to capo

D A E D F#m E

a hint of misery made its way aloonng

to those who've never harmed or never wronged

if honesty changed the hearts of men
            A
who could contend?

if all i thought were true
                E F#m D

   F#m E D
if all i thought were true...

D-A-E-D-F#m-E

D A E D F#m E
even my own ears would never care to know
D A E D F#m E
what deep inside ourselves out hearts behold
D A E D F#m E
a sky in shards, our world's unraveled parts
D A E F#m D
impossible to piece as one in our unending dark

          A E F#m D
i fear to think of all i'd undo
   F#m E D
if all i thought were true...

E F#m D A E F#m D
a hint of misery made its way aloonng
E F#m D A E F#m D
to those who've never harmed or never wronged
