I like the way it sounds best with the capo in on the 2nd fret- but it can be played in a higher key if you like.

The original recording is actually not tuned to standard pitch. It's about 50 cents off, sharp or flat, depending of course, on what key you're going to call it. .

in any case, I do the song in G, (usually with a 12 string), with a drop D capo on two. That puts it in key of A. At which point, I can almost sing the melody notes in the bridge. (At least if nobody is around).

Good tab though! When you get old and forgetful like me, it's nice to have the words and chords in front of you...

I play in standard tuning, in the key of B. I came to see what chord was here for the " What can I do..." part. I always played D#m G#m G C#m (etc) but was never happy with the G where the Em is here (I don't care for the Em7 at all, but the rest of the tab seems great!)I think the chord is actually G+ ( or G Aug), instead of Em7. You could play it:365443 which is a bit of a handful, or36544x Or, more easily,x6544x orxx5443The notes and interval of the G+ chord are as follows:G D# G B D# G1 #5 1 3 #5 1
