I've already said this a lot but I own Straight Up on vinyl and I was wearing it out constantly. Just brilliant. I love all of their first three albums and technically their debut as The Iveys. A real tragedy what happened with the group, it's quite saddening.

Not to mention Pete Ham, also happened to him at 27, he was even younger than most artists and he had such a talent for penning beautiful tunes along with the others like Tom Evans, the drummer Mike Gibbins could hold always hold down the right beat and when Molland joined they just got better. It's always a shame like what happened with Brian Jones, we'll never know the truth but I think Hendrix in particular was murdered because he was drowned in wine, he would definitely not have done that to himself, he was clearly held down while he had wine poured all of him, it filled his lungs.
