"Be My Yoko Ono"
set tempo
5th fret
Hey there isn't a chord set on this site that includes lyrics so I figured I'd do up
The E chord is sometimes played as E7 as well so do it to taste.

C E F G
If theres someone you can live without, then do so.
C E F G
And if theres someone you can just shove out, do so.

C E F G (strum)
You can be my yoko ono
You can follow me wherever I go
Be my, be my, be my yoko ono.

C E F G
Isnt it beautiful to see two people so much in love?
C E F G
Barenaked as two virgins hand in hand and hand and hand in glove.
C E F G
Now that Im far away it doesnt seem to me to be such a pain.
C E F G
To have you hanging off my ankle like some kind of ball and chain.

C E7 F G (strum fast)
Oh no, here we go, our life is just one big pun.
Oh no, here we go as yoko sings

C E F G
I know that when I say this
C E F G
I may be stepping on pins and needles.
C E F G
But I dont like all these people
C E F G
Slagging her for breaking up the beatles.
(dont blame it on yokey!)
C E F G
If I was john and you were yoko,
C E F G
I would gladly give up musical genius,
C E F G
Just to have you as my very own, personal venus.
(hit it!)

Great song, super fun to play at parties and such.

Excellent transcription except for one slight error. It sounds fine if you play it this way, don't get me wrong, but in the "bridge" section after the second chorus the chords are actually F G C Am then F G C E7

The rest is great. I got this from a vid of them playing it by the way so I am absolutely sure it is correct.

These chords sound right, but you have the chord names in the wrong places.

It's almost bang on. The note you have at the top, saying E or E7 can be played is, in fact, not quite right however.

Both chords are present, with a quick change from E to E7. It happens on the "you" in the first two lines of the song, and continues throughout.

Other than that, great job
