Beck

Capo 1

Note: (G) = Change to G on the 2nd beat of the measure

[Intro]
/ A - - - / - - - - / G - - - / C - - - / x2

[Verse]
A (G)
I saw her, yeah I saw her
            C A
With a black tongue tied round the roses
A (G)
A fist pounding on a vending machine
 C A
Toy diamond ring stuck on her finger
A
With a noose she could hang from the sun
       G C
And point it out with the dark sunglasses
A
Walking crooked down the beach
         G C
She spits in the sand where their bones are bleaching

[Chorus]
E G D (2)
And I know I'm gonna steal her eye--she doesn't even know it's wrong
E G D (2)
And you know I'm gonna make it die--take her where her soul belongs
E G F#m F
I know I'm gonna steal her eye-- nothing that I wouldn't try
E D A
Hey my sun-eyed girl
E D A
Hey my sun-eyed girl
E D A
       My sun-eyed girl
E D A
Hey my sun-eyed girl

A (G)
I saw her, yeah I saw her
               C A
With her hands tied back, her rags are burnin'
A (G)
Calling out from a land-filled life
     C A
Scrawling her name upon the ceiling
A
Throw a coin in the fountain of dust
G C
White noise, her ears are ringing
A
Got a ticket for my midnight hanging
G C
Throw a bullet from a freight train leaving

[Chorus]
E D A
Hey my sun-eyed girl
E D A
Hey my sun-eyed girl
E D A
       My sun-eyed girl
E D A
Hey my sun-eyed girl

E D A
Hey my sun-eyed girl
E D A
Hey my sun-eyed girl
E D A
       My sun-eyed girl
E D A
Hey my sun-eyed girl

if this one is incorrect the other version is too, cos these are the same chords but played with capo, which i was just
thinkin while i was playin the other version,.. it's easier and it let your finger rest a little.. playin all the time
Bb C# and G# gets a bit tiring for the fingers. well, i give it 5 stars anyway. i love this song!
