VERSE 1
Dmaj7 A7sus2 Dmaj7 A7sus2
First I rise Then I fall
Dmaj7 A7sus2
Seems like you don't want
    Dmaj7 A7sus2 Em
The love of this man at all

BRIDGE 1
         Bm A F#
And it's sure been a lonely time
      Em F# Bm
Right up to the time I met you
          Bm A F#
So if you take a love like mine,

CHORUS
        G F#m
Ooh, be tender with my love
             Em F# Bm
You know how easy it is to hurt me

Fanny, be tender with my love,
            Em

Do you think I'm gonna stand here
Dmaj7 A7sus2 Em
All night in the rain?"

             Bm A F#
And it's the start of a love affair:
    Em F# Bm
The moment when I first met you

Clearly wrong. When I tried playing the chords along with the original recording, the sounds of the chords illustrated above, just do match up with what I hear in the original recording.

Just checked the tab against the Bee Gees' recording and to me the chords sound fine.

Maybe you did not use the capo 2nd fret? If you hvan't got a capo at hand, just transpose the tab +2 steps to match the original. Enjoy playing this beautiful song!
