On the line "When they all should let us be" I am suggesting that you try
playing a G dmin. for "When they all should," then play C7 for "let us"
and Fm or Fm7 for "be." Just so you know what I am referring to as
G dim, I am placing 1st finger on 4th string, 5th fret; 3rd finger on
3rd string, 6th fret; 2nd finger on 2nd string 5th fret; and 4th finger
on 1st string 6th fret. This same chord formation could also be correctly indicated as an E dim. In each case, the 3rd and 5th note of the G
major and E major scale are lowered by a half step.
