"Desperation Made a Fool of Me"

[Intro]
D G

[Verse 1]
    D G D G
I'm sick, I've felt this way for sometime now
                    D G
I'm fed up with the daily grind
                        Em A D
I'm trying to find relief
        G D G
If you feel this way then clap your hands
                        D G
Ever thought this was a backwards land
                        Em
What is keeping people mean?
      A
A bad scene

[Chorus]
G D F#
Now that I've got my motives straight
         Bm G
And I am thinking clearly
Em F#m F# Bm G
I'll sneak up to your window with my senses open wide

[Verse 2]
    D G D G
I'm tired, on my shoulders weighing heavily
                    D G Em A D
Is the full responsibility of your troubles and your charms
     G D G
Your betrayal goes around with me
                        D G
Like the sword in some old tragedy
                     Em A
It is sticking in my back, people laugh

[Chorus]
G D F#
Now that I've got my motives straight
         Bm G
And I am thinking clearly
Em F#m F# Bm G
I'll sneak up to your window with my senses open wide

I know its kind of hard but I'm glad that it is

I think the chord on the lyric "wide" is a G, not an A. But otherwise, thanks for posting this! One of my all-time favorites, and it was a treat to sit down and starting playing it immediately.
