DOG ON WHEELS
By Belle & Sebastian

>From the EP 'Dog on Wheels'
Transcribed by Alan at alaning@hol.fr
Submitted by Thelonius

Actually simple, two chord sequences, the sung part and the instrumental
"love"-like trumpet part...here goes:

Fm A#
When i was a boy i was confounded by you

Fm D#
Now i'm still a boy i am indebted to you

F# C#
every song i ever wrote was written for you

        Fm
written for you

then the instrumental chorus type thing:

D# G# D# G#

F A#m

Fm C

and back to the Fm from the start!!
oh and the last chord of the song is an F.

Belle & Sebastian fans would be well advised to browse Paul
Mitchell's appealing site 'Sinister' at

Thank you very much for the chords. I love the song, reminded me of the band love, too.

In my opinion the second chord should be Cm though

It sounds more like F#m, C#m, F#m, E, G, D for the verse

then E, A, E, A, F#, Bm, F#m, C#m or C# for the la la la part
