BEN E. KING - STAND BY ME

 C Am F G C

  When the night has come
Am
  And the land is dark
              F G C
And the moon is the only light we'll see

  No, I won't be afraid,
        Am
  No, I won't be afraid
              F G C
Just as long as you stand, stand by me.

Chorus:
    F G C
So, darling, darling, stand by me,
    Am
Oh, stand by me.
    F G C
Oh, stand, stand by me,
Stand by me.

If the sea that we look upon
  Should tumble and fall
Or the mountain should crumble in the sea,
  I won't cry, I won't cry,
  No, I won't shed a tear
Just as long as you stand, stand by me.

Chorus

The G#m sounds a lot better as an Am.

Lack of formatting. The second vers is a little bit tricky. The contributer didnt add any chords to this part. Also the chords are clearly wrong.

The G#minor is wrong, guess its meant to be A minor
