The chords of this song repeat continually and are very basic. The rhythm is the
key to the performance, however. Enjoy!

Good by Better Than Ezra
Standard Tuning
Tab by Gene McClain

Intro:
G D Em C
G D Em C

G D Em C	G D Em C
Lookin around the house, hidden behind the window and the door
G D Em C
Searchin for signs of life but there's nobody home	G D Em C
G D Em	C
Now maybe I'm just too scared
     G D Em C
Or maybe I'm just too frightened by the sound of it
G D Em C
Pieces of notes fall down but the letter said

CHORUS:

G D Em C
Uh-huh, it was good living with you
G D Em C
Uh-huh, it was good, Uh-huh
G D Em C
Uh-huh, it was good living with you
G D Em C
Uh-huh, it was good, Uh-huh

G D Em C

G D Em C G D Em C
Sitting around the house, watchin the sun trace shadows on the floor
G D Em C
Searchin for signs of life but there's nobody home	G D Em C
       G D Em C
Well maybe I'll call or write you a letter
       G D Em C
Now maybe we'll see on the 4th of July
         G D Em C
But I'm not too sure, and I'm not too proud
           G D Em C
Well, I'm not too sure and I'm not too proud to say

CHORUS:

G D Em C
Uh-huh, it was good living with you
G D Em C
Uh-huh, it was good, Uh-huh
G D Em C
Uh-huh, it was good living with you
G D Em C
Uh-huh, it was good, Uh-huh

CHORUS:

G D Em C
Uh-huh, it was good living with you
G D Em C
Uh-huh, it was good, Uh-huh
G D Em C
Uh-huh, it was good living with you
G D Em C
Uh-huh, it was good, Uh-huh

This tab doesn't include the modulation during the guitar solo. I'm pretty sure it's after the 2nd chorus - it modulates up 1 full step: A E F#m D, then goes back down to the original chords for the last chorus.
