Me And Mrs.Jones (Better to play for Piano)

[Intro]

Cmaj9 Fmaj9

[Chorus]

Fmaj9 Cmaj9 Fmaj9
Me and Mrs.Jones
          Em7 Ebm7,Dm7
We got a thing goin'on
F/G
We both know that it's wrong
Fmaj/G G9b13 (Notes:Bass:G ;Chord: F,Ab,H,Eb)
But it's much too strong
Cmaj9 Em7, Em7/F , Em7/G , E7/G#
To let it go now

[Verse 1]

Am7 Em7 Em7,Ebm7,Dm7
We meet every day at the same cafe
Dm7 G13 Cmaj9 Cmaj9; E7,Am7
Six-thirty and no one knows she'll be there
Am7 Em7
Holding hands, making all kinds of plans
D7 F/G
While the juke box plays our favorite songs

[Chorus]

G6 Cmaj9,Fmaj9
Me and Mrs.Jones
         Em7 Ebm7,Dm7
We got a thing goin'on
F/G
We both know that it's wrong
Fmaj/G G9b13
But it's much too strong
Cmaj9 Em7,...,E7,Am7
To let it go now

[Verse 2]

Am7 Em7 Em7,Ebm7,Dm7
We gotta be extra careful
Dm7 G13 Cmaj9 Cmaj9,E7
That do we don't build our hopes up too high
Am7 Em7
Because she's got her own obligations
D7 F/G
And so, and so, do I

[Chorus]

G6 Cmaj9,Fmaj9
Me and Mrs.Jones
         Em7 Em7,Ebm7,Dm7
We got a thing goin'on
F/G
We both know that it's wrong
Fmaj/G G9b13
But it's much too strong
Cmaj9 Em7,...,E7,Am7
To let it go now

[Verse 3]

Am7 Em7 Em7,Ebm7,Dm7
Well, it's time for us to be leaving
Dm7 G13 Cmaj9,E7
It hurts so much, it hurts so much inside
Am7 Em7
Now she'll go her way and I'll go mine
    D7
But tomorrow we'll meet
F/G
The same place, the same time

(Repeat And Fade: Cmaj9,Fmaj9)

Me and Mrs.Jones

Just a couple of tiny points:

1) I think G7b9 sounds better than the b13.

2)Going from the C maj9 though the E7 to the Am7, it is nice to have a B bass on the E7.

I agree that it is much easier on Piano, and I like the Michael Buble version as well.

if displaying chords you see an "H" that is a F# Sus4 cord not an H as there is no H chord.
