This is good for people who aren't as skilled as Ian D'Sa, but still would like
play his songs. (A.K.A. me);)

Intro: C Em D Am Em D 2x

Verse:
  Em D
Today I walked down our old street
 Em D
Past the diner where we'd meet
C Em
Now I dine alone in our old seats

Em D

     Em D
The cold wind blows right through my bones
   Em D
And I feel like I'm getting old
    C Em
But I wish I was getting old with you

Em D

Pre-Chorus:
   C Em C
I held your hand while we took shelter from the rain
               Em C
She laughed as we picked out our childrens names

Chorus:
C Em C
White sparrows fell from heaven and carried her away
             Em C
Black arrows cut the strings of my heart I kneel and pray

C Em D Am Em D

Verse:
      Em D
Her clothes hang in the closet still
     Em D
Her phone sits on the windowsill
     C Em
And every time it rings it gives me chills

Em D

    Em D
My heart just stopped when I was told
Em D
Doctor, Doctor, on the phone
 C Em
Said my love was never coming home

Em D

Pre-Chorus:
    C Em C
I hold your casket gently walk you to the grave
               Em C
Dark clouds eclipse the sun won't shine again

Chorus:
C Em C
White sparrows fell from heaven and carried her away
             Em C
Black arrows cut the strings of my heart I kneel and pray
               D
They gave her one more day
   Em G
To say the words I couldn't say
     F
I'm crying in pain
 Am
Crying in pain

Em D Em D C D Em D

Bridge:
    Em D
And I'm not looking for answers
    Em D
No I'm not looking for answers
     C Em
But dear god why did you choose her?

Chorus:

C Em C
White sparrows fell from heaven and carried her away
             Em C
Black arrows cut the strings of my heart I kneel and pray
               D
They gave her one more day
   Em G
To say the words I couldn't say
     F
I'm crying in pain
 Am
Crying in pain
     F
Our love will remain
     Am
I'm crying in pain

Em (let ring).

I think the Chorus should be:

C Am
White sparrows

Em D
Fell from heaven and carried her away...etc

Sorry formatting fail. I'm still a noob to UG.
The C should be above 'White', Am above 'Sparrows', Em over 'fell', and D above 'carried...'.

Yeah, he's right about that Am, and during the verse the C should be followed by another Am, not an Em. But this was a great springboard to me getting a basic idea for the chords.
