Seen some other kid poost this tab totally wrong i went to a brmc show saw the chords
used. fingerpick them. also for the c chord he hammers on the 2nd fret on the D string. If
have a harmonica play in the key of C.

C F
I'd never known her to cry
    C G
But this time is different for sure
     C F
She's shaking with tears in her eyes
       C G
As she picks up what's left of the night
    C F
The hope for a reason seemed pure
   C G
As we leave what's left on the wall

chorus:

     C F G
But oh how it's taken its toll
    C F G
Oh how it's taken its toll
    C G F
Everything's taken its toll
    C G F
Everything's taken its toll

verse:
There was more than a break in the smiles
They rose and slowly they tired
As she turned and the moments were made
There were none that could prove where she lay
There's a calm in the stories now told
And the distance will always be home

Chorus:
     C F G
But oh how it's taken its toll
    C F G
Oh how it's taken its toll
    C G F
Everything's taken its toll
    C G F
Everything's taken its toll

   Am C F
Everything's taken its toll
    Am C F
It's a moment we carry alone
          Am C F
With a cause there's a cure for the soul
C F G
But oh how it's taken its toll
C G F
Oh how it's taken its toll

Great tab, well done! Does anybody know how the slide after the first G is played?

I also have a couple of comments/corrections...

The Intro/Solo/Outro are all:
C F C G
C F C–G-F

Also, the last chorus seems to be played:
Am C F
Everything's taken its toll
Am C F
It's a moment we carry alone
Am C F
With a cause there's a cure for the soul
C G F
But oh how it's taken its toll
C G C
Oh how it's taken its toll

Thanks for the great tab :)

Sorry, the spacing of the chords for the last chorus didn't post correctly, but you get the point...

I think the G chord slide goes something like this...not exactly, but it sounds close

G
