This is a bit of a difficult song to tab out in terms of chords!

The chords do go with the song.. but if you play it without the song in the background
kinda get more of a feel where i'm coming from with these chords.. I hope anyway.. i
wanna write a shitty tab, cuz that's a waste of every1's time!

Standard Tuning

Chords:
   C#m B6 A B F#m
e|--4---4---5---7---2--------------------------------------------------|
B|--5---4---5---7---2--------------------------------------------------|
G|--6---4---6---8---2--------------------------------------------------|
D|--6---4---6---9---4--------------------------------------------------|
A|--4---6---7---9---4--------------------------------------------------|
E|--4---4---5---7---2--------------------------------------------------|

Chords are the same all the way through the verses and chorus.

TIP FOR STRUMMING:

VERSES:

The way i play it is to strum D = Down DDDDDDDDDDD quite quick all the way through the
to try recreate the tempo of the song

CHORUS:

For the chorus, i usually mix it up a bit, i add in a fair bit of 'chucking' just to
it up a bit, but just make it your own!

Verse:
        C#m B6
If your right hand is causing you pain
       A F#m
Cut it off, cut it off
        C#m B6
If your colours have started to run
           A F#m
Let them all run, run away from you

         C#m B6
There is lightning in this room
          A F#m
Above our heads, waiting to strike
      C#m B6
I'm a thinker not a talker
         A F#m
Put your faith, your faith in God

Chorus:

C#m B6 A B
We were hoping for some romance
C#m B6 A F#m
All we found was more despair
C#m B6 A B
We must talk about our problems
C#m B6 A F#m
We are in a state of flux

Verse:

C#m B6
I'd kill for an adventure
            A F#m
Just you and I, in the Curzon Bar
C#m B6
Dancing till we knew
                  A F#m
So all that we've learnt disappears

         C#m B6
When you shouted at me
         A F#m
I saw my father in the second grade
C#m B6
Concerned and kind
    A B
Yet unable to reach me

C#m B6 A B
We were hoping for some romance
C#m B6 A F#m
All we found was more despair
C#m B6 A B
We must talk about our problems
C#m B6 A F#m
We are in a state of flux

REPEAT VERSE CHORDS

We need to talk (X 5 TIMES) *REPEAT CHORUS CHORDS*

C#m B6 A B
We were hoping for some romance
C#m B6 A F#m
All we found was more despair
C#m B6 A B
We must talk about our problems
C#m B6 A F#m
We are in a state of flux
