This is a tab for the Lead Guitar part to "Secrets" off
"Another Weekend In The City"

I know this tab is NOT 100% Correct, especially with the 1st and 2d Verse. If any part
doesn't sound right please post a correction
instead of a negative comment or a low rating, so I can fix the tab and make it 100% correct.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

NOTE: I did not tab the intro Myself, all Credit goes to "The Alchemist" from his
tabbing of the intro to this song,

Which is here: http://tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/b/bloc_party/secrets_intro_tab.htm

Intro:
-------

Played Twice.

e|-7---------------------------------------------------7-------------|
B|----10-9--------7-------------------7----7-10--7-10----------------|
G|---------9-9--9---9-7-----------7-9---9----------------------------|
D|-----------------------7-9--7-9------------------------------------|
A|-------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|-------------------------------------------------------------------|

e|-17-14------------------------------------------------------14---17---19--|
B|-------17--15-15--15-17--------------------15----17--15-17----------------|
G|------------------------16-14-16-14--14-16----16--------------------------|
D|--------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|--------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|--------------------------------------------------------------------------|

1ST VERSE: (0:56 - 1:19)
-------------------------

This part seems nearly correct to me. REPEAT 4 TIMES

e|--------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|--8---8---8---8---8---8--10--10----------------8--8-----------------------|
G|---7---7---7---7---7---7---7---7--7--7--7--7--7--7------------------------|
D|-----------------------------------9--9--9--9----------5--7--9------------|
A|--------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|--------------------------------------------------------------------------|

CHORUS: (1:20 - 1:40)
----------------------

I found two ways of playing the Chorus..both sound good when playing with the song.

Use Heavy Delay when playing the Chorus part

1ST WAY. All notes tremolo picked

e|--------------------------|
B|--7---8-7--5--3-----5-----|
G|--------------------------| X4
D|--------------------------|
A|--------------------------|
E|--------------------------|

2d way.. Also using tremolo picking (I prefer this way, it matches the melody much more)
e|----------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|--7---5---3---5---7--5--3-----5--------7---5---3---5---7--8--7-----5--|
G|----------------------------------------------------------------------| X2
D|----------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|----------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|----------------------------------------------------------------------|

(1:40 - 2:03) Repeat Intro..

(2:04 - 2:18)
e|---------------------------|
B|--------------------7b-----|
G|---9b---------------9b-----|
D|---------------------------|
A|---------------------------|
E|---------------------------|

(2:27 - 2:49) Repeat 1st Verse

CHORUS 2: (2:50 - 3:33)
--------------------------

Same as 1st chorus except twice as long, Also using Heavy Delay

e|--------------------------|
B|--7---8-7--5--3-----5-----|
G|--------------------------| X8
D|--------------------------|
A|--------------------------|
E|--------------------------|

2d way.. Also using tremolo picking
e|----------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|--7---5---3---5---7--5--3-----5--------7---5---3---5---7--8--7-----5--|
G|----------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|----------------------------------------------------------------------| X4
A|----------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|----------------------------------------------------------------------|

SOLO: (3:34 - END)
------------------------

I forgot to add a bend on the 5th fret B string right before you slide down to the 14th fret e string. You are still tremolo picking as you bend the 5th fret

Pretty sure the last part of the solo goes like this:

e|---12--14----15--14--12--10--\\\--17----19----17--15--14--10--|
B|--------------------------------------------------------------|
G|--------------------------------------------------------------|
D|--------------------------------------------------------------|
A|--------------------------------------------------------------|
E|--------------------------------------------------------------|
