"Forever Young"

Forever Young by Bob Dylan

[Verse 1]

May God bless and keep you always,
May your wishes all come true,
May you always do for others
        G               D
And let others do for you.
May you build a ladder to the stars
And climb on every rung,
         G/B      A         D
May you stay        forever young,
        A7         Bm
Forever young, forever young,
        D         A7        D
May you stay        forever young.

[Verse 2] (repeat the chords till the end)

May you grow up to be righteous,
May you grow up to be true,
May you always know the truth
And see the lights surrounding you.
May you always be courageous,
Stand upright and be strong,
May you stay forever young,
Forever young, forever young,
May you stay forever young.

[Verse 3]

May your hands always be busy,
May your feet always be swift,
May you have a strong foundation
When the winds of changes shift.
May your heart always be joyful,
May your song always be sung,
May you stay forever young,
Forever young, forever young,
May you stay forever young.

it's usually always beneficial for most people when the chord voicing is on the tab as well; however, i also agree it can be beneficial to try out multiple voicings and do some independent research for songs as well. But still, it would be useful to see the fingerings of the not-so-regularly-used chords for ease of playing. Anyway, for those out there wondering how to play the F#m/C#, G/B, Bm, and A7:

F#m/C# --> x44222
G/B --> x20033
Bm --> x24432
A7 --> x02010

Sorry to add a correction to the last comment, but
A7 --> x02020
At the same time I greatly appreciate my friend giving voicings to possibly less familiar chords for our less experienced guitarists. Thank you.

bit superfluous as far as I'm concerned... F#m/C#= F#m ... G/B= G ... jaja, thanks for the sheet though, learned the song with it, and it's appreciated!

You may want to rate the tab now too:
