MISUNDERSTOOD
--------------

[Intro]
G D/F# Em
Should I? Could I?
                           D C
Have said the wrong things right a thousand times
                  C/B Am
If I could just rewind, I see it in my mind
If I could turn back time, you'd still be mine

[Verse 1]
G D/F# Em
You cried, I died
                      D C
I should have shut my mouth, things headed south
                            C/B Am
As the words slipped off my tongue, they sounded dumb
If this old heart could talk, it'd say you're the one

[Bridge]
Am C
I'm wasting time when I think about it

[Chorus]
Em C G
I should have drove all night,
                         D/F#
I would have run all the lights
I was misunderstood
Em C G
I stumbled like my words,
               D
Did the best I could
C Am
Damn, misunderstood

[Verse 2]
G D/F# Em
Could I? Should I?
              D C
Apologize for sleeping on the couch that night
                          C/B Am
Staying out too late with all my friends
You found me passed out in the yard again
G D/F# Em
You cried, I tried
                          D
To stretch the truth, but didn't lie

[Bridge]
Am C
It's not so bad when you think about it

[Chorus]
Em C G
I should have drove all night,
                         D/F#
I would have run all the lights
I was misunderstood
Em C G
I stumbled like my words,
               D
Did the best I could
C Am
Damn, misunderstood
          C
Intentions good

Em C G

I 'm hanging outside your door

I've been here before

The key isn't any different when Bon Jovi did it live that way - it appears JBJ just likes playing in C for whatever reason. If you want to do it that way, just transpose down 7 semitones, throw a capo on the 7th fret and you're good to go (I think they tune down a half step live so it would be 8th fret, but you get the idea). Anyway, the tab is great, although I think the D/F# in the verses is actually G/F# (200033)

it was great man just one thing. the second chorus is exactly the same as the third instead of being exactly the same as the first
