Well well darling starting in 'G' there might be something across ya way call a 'Bm',
else it might sound a little bit aweful in some places.
Just shift 'Am' up 2 fret's and you're there!

'Bm' -> x24432

Verse:
...nothing but a [Bm]heartache...

Refrain:
...when you [Bm]find he doesn't...

.., [D]you. [C] [Bm]
[Am] It ain't...

.., [D]you. [C] [Bm]
[Am] It's a...

Replace:
Em-D -> G-D

Ah yep and for the starting even if the 'D' does a good job.
Try out a
G add9 320203
__________^-That'll add the 9 ;)

It's easier to play than ya might thinging.
Just play a 'normal' G and put the 'free' index finger on the g-string in the 2nd fred.
So what no 'free' index finger when playing the G-chord?
Well a free pinky won't be of much use here.
Try other fingering to free the index finger or be happy with playing a 'D' instead.
